Michelle Eagleton; Genesis Presenter

Michelle started out as an actress appearing in Granada’s ‘Children Ward’, ‘Heartbeat’ and the nation’s best loved soap ‘Coronation St’. In 2000 she decided to make the move into presenting and journalism when she landed a job in London as Showbiz reporter for Independent Radio News, broadcasting to over 300 commercial radio stations and interviewing the likes of Cher, Jude Law and The Spice Girls.

Since then she has returned to her home town of Manchester working for Key 103, Revolution and Wire Fm reading news bulletins and reporting on local stories.

Michelle also spent 2 years at Channel M television where she was one of the faces of their flagship Breakfast Show, waking people up each morning with a smile.

She now writes a regular column in Didsbury Magazine, is the voice of Traffic & Travel for numerous BBC radio stations and presents for a number of TV channels and websites.

After being a supporter of the charity for a number of years, we are pleased to announce that Michelle has agreed to come onboard as a regular host for our events.
