About The Challenges
Run by experienced events company, the Big Day Out challenges are not for the faint-hearted.
Running some 60ft through the air above the pitch at the City of Manchester Stadium, the zipwire challenge begins on level three of the West Stand. Friends and family are welcome to come along to watch as you sail through the skies above the playing surface.
Or see life at the Stadium from an entirely different vantage point by abseiling down the outside of the spiral walkways of the East Stand. At almost 65ft above the ground you’ll have a bird’s eye view of the activities taking place around the Stadium that day.
Towers Trek
Alongside the adult challenges, kids can get involved too by taking part in the Towers Trek. Replacing the annual Sponsored Trot, the Towers Trek challenges kids to solve puzzles and answer questions as they explore the walkways of the Stadium.
Entry to the Towers Trek is free but sponsorship forms are available to download from www.live4city.co.uk with a fantastic prize on offer to the child who raises the most sponsorship money.
Under-5s are invited to join in the fun with a little help from Mum or Dad!
