Delivering a High Quality Breast Care Service - Can We Do Better?
The Genesis Appeal has commissioned a study to look at the quality of care delivered by the Nightingale Centre and Genesis Prevention Centre 6 months after its opening in July 2007.
- The study was undertaken by the Community-led Research Team (a group of 6 women who are previous users of the service).
- The study was conducted between February and April 2008.
- 50 patients who had undergone a breast cancer diagnosis at the Centre and who then required surgery were interviewed face to face, using a standardised questionnaire.
