MCFC's Big Day Out
The Genesis Appeal has been chosen as one of the three nominated charities for Manchester City FC for the season 2007/2008. In honour of this association, we are delighted to announce the Club’s first Big Day Out. A fundraising day in aid of the The Genesis Appeal, City in the Community and Caudwell Children.
The Big Day Out invites you to take a once in a lifetime challenge, to soar across the Stadium over 60ft above the playing surface on a zipwire or to abseil from 65ft above the ground down the spiral walkways of the East Stand.
The event will be at the City of Manchester Stadium on Saturday 12th April and combines the daredevil sponsored challenges with the Live4City Towers Trek, making the Big Day Out an event in which the whole family can get involved.
Alongside the main challenges there will also be a number of sideshows offering people of all ages and abilities the opportunity to take part and help raise much needed funds for the charities. Events include target football, inflatable squash, a fitness challenge and Tug of War and all sideshows can be entered with a simple donation. Click here for more information about the activities
