Phil & Toj Explore the Areola of Europe
An intrepid charity duo are set to embark on an adventure of a lifetime and help in the fight against breast cancer by raising funds and awareness for The Genesis Appeal.
Phil Maden and Anthony Jackson (otherwise known as Toj), are travelling 5,000 miles across Europe over nine months in a humble van. The 22-year old university graduates are travelling around western and central Europe taking in the sights of 15 countries including France, Poland, Italy, and Austria.
Anthony’s mum sadly lost her eight-year battle against the disease and passed away in 2006, while two of Phil’s close family members have also received treatment for breast cancer.
Anthony said: “We hope our trip across Europe will inspire others to raise much-needed funds for The Genesis Appeal and help raise awareness of breast cancer not just amongst women, but men as well.
