The Pool of Life
One of the main aims of the group is to show that women who have had breast cancer can lead full and active lives. They train in a 40 foot long boat once or twice a week on the docks at Liverpool and they are always looking for new members to join. The Pool of Life are the first Breast Cancer Survivor Dragon Boat Team in the UK.
Formed in 2004 to provide a "floating support group" for women surviving breast cancer and their families and friends.
