Breast cancer specialists and scientists in Manchester believe that prevention and early diagnosis may hold the key to improving prospects for the next generation.
The Genesis Appeal supports their vital work into breast cancer prevention and early diagnosis.
We provide funds and continue to raise money for:

- The breast cancer prevention research teams, projects and individuals, who are based in the new centre.
- Dr Michelle Harvie, the only Research Dietician in the UK testing the effect of diet on breast cancer.
- Gene testing for women who carry a faulty gene.
- The Family History Clinic at the Nightingale Centre and Genesis Prevention Centre- the largest of its kind in the UK - that provides counselling and breast screening for women worried about breast cancer in the family.
